For Staff: Using Skills for Learning
Academic staff use the Skills for Learning website in a number of different ways:
- Run a hands-on session with the web site, asking students to identify their development needs by reviewing the content of the site
- Refer students to the site as a support mechanism
- Referring students to specific topics on the site at the appropriate point in a module
- Providing specific Skills for Learning handouts to students on particular topics
- Integrate the material into assessed work
