Viewing the multimedia content
The PCs in the library are already set up to view Skills for Learning. If you are accessing the site from anywhere other than the library, to view the multimedia content on this site, you can download for free the latest versions of the following multimedia players:
- For tutorial animations and interactive exercises - Flash Player download
- For video - Windows Media Player download
The BBC website has a very good explanation of Flash and how it is used on websites.
Viewing PDF documents
Some content on the site is also available for download as an Adobe PDF (Portable Document Format) file. To view these types of files you will need the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader, which you can download free from the following site: Adobe Acrobat Reader download
