Off-campus users
When you access the Skills for Learning website from off-campus you will be asked to enter a Leeds Met username and password combination (sometimes known as the Universal password):
Username
- For students
- Your username is your "c number" (including the "c") written on your student card.
- For staff
- The username is your compID (sometimes know as userid) e.g. smith01
Password
Your password is the same password that you have for logging in to:
- on-campus Leeds Met PCs
- the Portal, WebCT and X-stream
- the Remote Filestore facility (Netstorage)

CD Users
If you are using the Skills for Learning CD you will not have to login/access the Internet except to:
- view the 'EROL' resource within the 'Employability' theme (follow login instructions above)
- access references in the Library Catalogue
- access certain parts of the 'Library Online' website
- follow references to external websites
